You can find information on NY Man on the static web site at http://www.nymensactionnetwork.org/. The primary organization I am affiliated with is the Coalition of Fathers and Families NY, Inc. (http://fafny.org/) but as that is a not for profit corporation it is limited in its lobbying and is primarily a shared parenting parental rights organization. NY MAN allows me to take issue from FaFNY, other organizations such as the American Coalition of Fathers and Children (http://www.acfc.org/), the National Coalition For Men (http://ncfm.org/) and Stop Abusive and Violent Environments (http://www.saveservices.org/) and turn the policy positions into political activism and lobbying at the grass roots level directed towards NY government representatives.
In effect, NY MAN is the lobbying arm of many organizations which do not have professional lobbyists working on their behalf in NYS. If you see something here the opinion is that of Jim Hays and does not necessarily represent the views of any organization other then NY MAN. That said, the views expressed here are most likely supported by many local, state, and national organizations and their memberships.
